Hex Engine bio:

Hex Engine blends infectious hard rock rhythms with bombastic melodies and driving guitar licks. This iconoclastic Philadelphia-based quartet crafts a distinct blend of blues-infused desert rock that resonates with enthusiasts of legendary bands like Black Sabbath, Clutch, Kyuss, and Monster Magnet. Fresh off the release of their debut album, Other People, Hex Engine has captured critical attention both nationally and internationally:

Outlaws of the Sun hails Other People as a "stunning album that delivers exhilarating entertainment from start to finish" and an "epic release packed full of diverse sounds, solidifying Hex Engine's position as a standout act."

GBHBL.com gave Other People a 9/10 rating and praises the band's "willingness to defy genre constraints," noting "the depth and versatility of their sound, setting them apart from the crowd."

Currently recording their follow-up to Other People, Hex Engine has released several new songs in 2026, with an eye to a full-length sophomore album coming out late 2026 / early 2027. This album continues where the last left off, full of heavy riffage and interesting melodies.

With singer Ron Atom's electrifying hooks, Drew Campbell's blistering guitar solos, and the dynamic pulse of Bob Maloskey and Christian Johnson's rhythm section, the band’s performances have captivated audiences throughout the Northeast. Now Hex Engine is poised to conquer venues across the East Coast and Midwest in 2026, 2027 and beyond.
